A graduate of Paris School of Fine Art, Eva Jospin has been focusing on the theme of forests for several years.
Inspired by Land Art, the Supports/Surfaces Movement and garden art, she creates high reliefs solely using cardboard. Jospin cuts, chisels, assembles and superimposes in order to create volume and size. Each monumental Forest functions as a screen and a space into which viewers can project themselves in order to escape.
For LN Edition, Jospin has created an object that is halfway between being a book and a sculpture. It is made of laser-cut paper sheets assembled accordion-style, thus creating volume.
